How to Not Be Scared of Networking
I don't know about you, but I've always found networking to be a mildly terrifying experience.
Joining a group of strangers and 'working the room' is the kind of thing that fills introverts like me with dread.
So it'll come as no surprise to you that I hardly consider myself an expert on the subject.
Over the last couple of years though I've come to realise that growing both as an individual and in your business often means getting out of your comfort zone. It means doing things that, at first, probably scare you silly.
For me, that includes networking - at least it did given my pretty narrow, pre-conceived ideas about it. Helped, no doubt, by one or two less-than-positive experiences over the years.
But the publication of my new book has got me back on the networking trail, so I thought I'd turn to my friend & expert networker Sauren Ghosh for advice.
